I knew I wanted to work for Vagabond Missions after volunteering as a chaplain in the juvenile detention center downtown. I fell in love with working with those teens, who were often forgotten and many of whom were unchurched, and I knew that I wanted a way to serve teens like these. Vagabond provided a unique opportunity to seek out those on the margins and invest in their lives in a very tangible way.

I’d be the patron saint of mediocre CrossFit athletes.

My go-to relational ministry activity is playing basketball.
