Jasmine’s Story

Jasmine met Vagabond Missions one summer when she went with her brother to hang out at the gym. She met the missionaries in the gym where they were having open youth room and afterward started seeing the Baton Rouge team on her social media feed. She followed the team on social media and saw how they were praising God and living out their faith, so she decided to join them. Jasmine was trying to get closer to God and learn more about Jesus, and the love and support that the team gave her and the other teens showed her how great God is. When- ever Vagabond Missions posted on social media about an event, Jasmine made sure to attend.

The Bible studies at the youth center brought her closer to God. The relationships Jasmine built with the missionaries made her trust them, knowing that they would always tell her what was right and wrong. She opened up more and was happier with the support of Vagabond. The missionaries had become like family to her and really brought her closer to God.
