I was working in ministry in Philadelphia and that was coming to an end, so I started applying and preparing for nursing school during quarantine. After the death of George Floyd, I was very inspired to be a boots-on-the-ground missionary and make a difference in even just one teen that has to live in the shadows of America. Growing up black in America, our parents often tell us how to survive here. I want to put an end to that and help teach teens how to thrive.
I am most excited to invite teens to our Underground.
If my life were a movie, I would want Denzel Washington to play the part of me.
