New Orleans, LA

New Orleans is one of the most unique cities in the world. Our music, food, and various cultural expressions have made us a very popular place for people to visit. Just as we are known as the “Big Easy,” we have also been called, “The City that Care Forgot.” Unfortunately, the rapid changes brought on since Hurricane Katrina have increased the, already existent, big gap between the haves and the have nots in the city. We are excited to open our first site in New Orleans to help reach out and serve with those on the “peripheries,” as Pope Francis says.

We are currently in the planning stages (looking for spaces, raising funds, and organizing resources, putting our team/committee together) and hope to have missionaries in place by late Summer of 2022.

It is our goal, not only to bring hope and love to those on the peripheries, but to encounter the hope and love that is already there in the midst of the work that we are called to do.
